John Greenhalgh, Ph.D.

John Greenhalgh

Dr. Greenhalgh earned his A.B. degree in physics from Princeton University in 1976, where as a senior he worked at the Princeton Cyclotron in experimental nuclear physics under the direction of Stuart J. Freedman. He completed his Ph.D. at Stanford University in 1981, where he studied under Mel Schwartz (a 1988 Nobel laureate in physics), specializing in experimental elementary particle physics. In 1981, Dr. Greenhalgh returned to Princeton as a post-doctoral research associate and later became a Lecturer in the Department of Physics. In 1985, he joined FONAR Corp. as a Research Scientist – Engineer and since 1987 has served as FONAR’s Director of MRI Applications Research. In that capacity, Dr. Greenhalgh has had broad responsibilities in pulse sequence programming and software development, field service, and clinical applications. He is now very happy to bring his many years of imaging expertise to bear as a consulting physicist for West Physics.

Dr. Greenhalgh is originally from New City, New York.

Kristen Stryker, M.S.

Kristen Stryker

Ms. Stryker attended Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania where she received her Bachelor’s degree in both Physics and Music. As an undergraduate, she participated in nuclear physics research at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory at Michigan State University.

She continued on to Columbia University in the City of New York graduating from the CAMPEP-accredited program with a Masters of Science in Medical Physics. During her graduate studies, she gained clinical medical physics experience at both NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Mount Sinai Hospital.

Outside of work, you can find Ms. Stryker volunteering at an animal shelter, playing the flute, or training for her next marathon.

Ms. Stryker is originally from Springfield, Virginia.
